I'm a huge fan of Koia protein drinks, and I heard that this company has the same founders. After drinking a couple of Rainbow Drip Happy Pops, my conclusion is that they are very close to perfect! Here's what I love about them:
- Amazing taste with no added sugar and no fake sugar (natural or artificial). I'm so tired of everything having a stevia/monkfruit blend, and I try to avoid sucralose and acesulfame potassium. This might be the only energy drink on the market with real fruit juice as its only sweetener. The taste is a bright, tropical, sweet-yet-tart tasting pop of pineapple, cherry, and orange. It's unique, but enjoyable.
- 100mg caffeine from green coffee beans is perfect. I really think 100mg is a sweet spot for an energy drink.
- I like the additions of apple cider vinegar, Mucuna pruriens, and Vit D.
Perhaps my only critique is that I wish the drink had a larger volume. 8.4 fl oz is pretty small. I'd be okay with a few extra grams of sugar from the fruit juice if the drink could just be proportionately larger but also maintain the same formula. I just really enjoy sipping a tasty sparkling natural energy drink with my lunch, but I gulp one of these down way too fast and don't want to crack open a second one because it would be too much caffeine (and too expensive of a habit).
All in all though, one of the best natural energy drinks on the market from both a taste and formulation perspective! Great job!
